The Certified Hand Center of Rockford is pleased to announce Leah Crull has successfully completed the necessary requirements for recertification of her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
A Certified Hand Therapist is an Occupational or Physical Therapist who, after meeting specific eligibility requirements, has passed a comprehensive test of advanced clinical skills and theory in upper quarter rehabilitation. Because of ongoing changes in the profession, The Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) requires a CHT to demonstrate continued professional development and competency by recertifying every 5 years. This is achieved through participation in HTCC approved continuing education courses totaling 80 hours.
Leah has been a Certified Hand Therapist for 20 of her 34 years as an Occupational Therapist. Congratulations, Leah, on your continued dedication to the field of Occupational Therapy!
